Gold Prices increase, 21 karat at EGP 2080

The global and local gold markets are exposed to a state of fluctuation, during trading today, Monday, as the ounce began trading on a wave of decline, then rose by about 1%, recording its highest level since March of last year, to exceed 2000 dollars, then it decreased to 1980 dollars.

Saeed Imbaby, executive director of the “iSagha” platform said that gold prices rose by 5 pounds in the local markets during today’s trading, as a gram of 21 carat gold recorded 2080 pounds, while an ounce recorded $1982.

He added that a gram of 24-karat gold recorded 2377 pounds, a gram of 18-karat gold recorded about 1783 pounds, a gram of 14-karat gold recorded about 1387 pounds, and a pound of gold recorded about 16640 pounds.
