Vienna is well known globally for its imperial heritage, such as the Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere and Hofburg, accompanied by the highest levels of musical and cultural attractions in almost every corner, such as Golden Hall of the Musikverein, Museum of Fine Arts and State Opera House.

Vienna also represents a mean for Epicurean pleasure thanks to its centuries-old tradition reflected in the designing its cafes and restaurants. Moreover, it is located in a beautiful geographical location, east of Alps mountain.

A few days ago in this beautiful city, the World Dialogue Conference to Combat Hate Speech was organized by the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Center for Dialogue among Religions and Cultures “the International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID)”.

The two-day conference aimed at raising awareness about the danger of hate speech, promoting peaceful coexistence in societies. The conference was attended by senior religious leaders, policy makers, government actors, representatives of international organizations and civil society, including Heinz Fischer, the former President of Austria.

In five sessions, we discussed the role of religion, media and policies in combating hate speech and promoting peaceful coexistence during a forum aims at exchanging views and experiences among religious, media institutions, leaders, as well as policy makers.

The sessions also tackled international organizations to activate cooperation and joint action to combat hate speech, which represents  the main reason behind the disintegration of societies and the growth of extremism.

This conference is a part of the Center's efforts to develop specific initiatives and action plans to combat hate speech, and violence and promote peaceful coexistence.

Mr. Faisal bin Muaammar, Secretary General of KAICIID, exerts tremendous efforts for an international road map to build a single international humanitarian family without hatred and fragmentation.

For nearly a decade, and in the framework of building a single human family and a common community house, I have called, with others in the framework of Fas forums on the Alliance of Civilizations," said Muaammar. "The nine volumes on the Alliance of Civilizations and Cultural Diversity, which I have issued under my supervision, for  regional and international mechanisms criminalize hate speech and defamation of religions."

Such a recommendation was considered by some states as a threat to the public freedoms and human rights, while this contradicts with the global dialogue we advocate for. But what is this dialogue? The real dialogue is represented communities able to crystallize the values, principles, ethics, means and controls of a well-established human charter, and a safe path for a reasonable human journey.

The question here is: How and what is the way to achieve that ..?, the answer is dialogue, neutral dialogue .. religiously, culturally, politically, economically, and ethnically, according to neutral values.

We do not seek a dialogue to help a particular culture dominate another culture .. Or to help a country dominate other countries .. or to achieve the ambitions of a policy at the expense of the policies of others.

We want a dialogue that serves human persity in all its forms and interests ,common concepts , common goals  and preserves the common human destiny. We want a dialogue based on the principles of mutual respect.

We want a dialogue that its methodology isn’t based on religious, cultural, and social specifications. We want a dialogue that mobilizes the energies and potentials of human persity with all its affiliations, contents, names and aspirations for cooperation and sincere work to preserve:

1-Sanctity of values of faith in God, the unity of the human family and its common interests.

2-Sanctity of human life, dignity and property

3-Sanctity of justice, peace and environmental integrity

4-Sanctity of the human mind, freedom, food, health and education
