The second night of WrestleMania 42, held on April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, delivered a monumental shift in the WWE landscape.

The event featured massive title changes, a historic retirement, and a grueling main event that saw Roman Reigns reclaim the top spot in the industry.

In a 33-minute epic that served as the night's main event, Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

The match was a physical marathon, highlighted by Punk landing a top-rope elbow drop on Reigns through the broadcast table.

However, Reigns’ resilience proved superior; he survived multiple Go to Sleep (GTS) attempts and eventually secured the pinfall after a decisive spear, marking his 11th WrestleMania main event.

In a shocking opening match, the rising powerhouse Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in under five minutes. Femi "no-sold" much of Lesnar’s early offense and countered a second F5 attempt into his signature Fall from Grace powerbomb for the clean win.

Following the match, a visibly emotional Brock Lesnar removed his gloves and boots and left them in the center of the ring, a traditional signal of retirement.

He shared a tearful embrace with Paul Heyman as the 55,000 fans in attendance gave him a standing ovation.

Rhea Ripley reclaimed her throne at the top of the women's division by defeating Jade Cargill.

The match was a literal clash of titans, with both women showcasing immense power. Despite interference from B-Fab and Michin on behalf of Cargill, Iyo Sky arrived to even the odds.

Ripley capitalized on the chaos, hitting the Riptide to secure her fourth world title.

In one of the most high-risk ladder matches in WrestleMania history, Penta successfully defended his title against Rey Mysterio, Je’Von Evans, Rusev, Dragon Lee, and JD McDonagh.

The match featured a terrifying Mexican Destroyer from Penta to McDonagh off the top of a ladder. Penta ultimately cleared the ring by hitting another Destroyer on Evans before climbing the ladder to retrieve his championship.

Trick Williams captured his first main roster title by defeating Sami Zayn. Accompanied by Lil Yachty, Williams overcame a more aggressive, desperate version of Zayn.

After Yachty distracted Zayn at a crucial moment, Williams connected with the "Trick Shot" to become the new United States Champion.

In a deeply personal encounter, Finn Bálor brought back "The Demon" persona to settle his score with Dominik Mysterio.

The match utilized the street fight stipulation to the fullest, featuring kendo sticks, chairs, and multiple tables. The end came when Bálor hit a Coup de Grâce from the top rope, driving Mysterio through a table for the victory.
