The 2026 Wimbledon Championships concluded on Sunday after two weeks of world-class tennis at the All England Club, with Jannik Sinner successfully defending his men's singles title and Linda Noskova capturing her maiden Grand Slam crown in the women's singles event.
Sinner retained the Wimbledon title after defeating Germany's Alexander Zverev in the men's final, further cementing his place among the sport's elite and becoming the first Italian to successfully defend the Wimbledon men's singles trophy.
On the women's side, Czech rising star Linda Noskova enjoyed a career-defining fortnight by lifting her first Grand Slam title.
The 18-year-old produced a series of impressive performances before delivering an emotional victory speech, dedicating the championship to her late mother.
The Championships also crowned champions across the doubles, junior and wheelchair competitions, with Britain's Henry Patten and Finland's Harri Heliovaara winning the men's doubles title, while Guo Hanyu and Kristina Mladenovic lifted the women's doubles trophy.
In wheelchair tennis, Japan's Tokito Oda added another Wimbledon men's singles title to his growing collection, while Britain's Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid celebrated another men's doubles triumph.
