Egypt and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has retained his place among the world’s top 10 most popular footballers on Instagram, according to the latest update published by global outlet Lente de Sportiva.
Salah climbed to 66 million followers as of July 22, up by one million since April, when his count stood at 65 million. This growth keeps him in 10th place on the global list.
The Egyptian captain is the only African and Arab player to feature in the top 10, ranking ahead of global names such as retired Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimović and Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior.
