Get to Know Saturday Night's Main Event Results

Early Sunday, WWE will bring the iconic WWE Saturday Night's Main Event after 16 years of absence.

The event's inaugural edition was introduced on May 10, 1985, at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, N.Y.

This year's edition took place in Uniondale, New York, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the same location as the inaugural event 39 years earlier.

WWE geared up the event with the presence of iconic and original WWE Saturday Night's Main Event faces.

The show was aired on WWE Youtube platforms and NBC.

The event was main evented by the anticipated fight between Cody Rhodes, and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

The event witnessed the crowning of Chelsea Green as the inaugural WWE Women's US champion.

Liv Morgan retained her Women's World title after defeating Iyo Sky, and Gunther retained his WWE World Heavyweight title after pinning Finn Balor in a triple threat match against Damian Priest, and Finn Balor.
