On Wednesday, Sputnik shed the light on the strict eating rules of Queen Elizabeth II according to Buckingham Palace's etiquette.

The report highlighted that the Queen follows simple and organized schedules for meals. Also, there are versions of all menus written in French.

One of the strange royal rules imposed by the Royal Family is discarding garlic from all recipes and for all Royal Family members, including the Queen.

Another important habit that the Queen follows is having a healthy and light dinner. She also doesn't add any heavy carbs to her meals. However, the 95-year old monarch enjoys healthy sandwiches.

As dinner with a Queen is a valuable occasion, all guests should stick into formal wear, and all dishes on the table should be approved by the Queen.

One of the banned food on the Royal menu is shellfish as Royal members fear being poisoned by it, in addition, raw meat is forbidden too especially during vacations.

Moreover holding teacup has a certain protocol that is followed by the Queen. Royal members should hold the cup with their forefinger and thumb against the top of the handle.

The Queen also prefers depending on organic and fresh ingredients through all her meals, including her breakfast which is based on earl grey tea with milk and sugar, and some biscuits. Sometimes she took cereal, yogurt, toast, and marmalade.

Finally, one of the strict rules is when the Queen is done with eating, everyone should let all forks and knives down.
