We are only 9 days away from the biggest African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in history, which will be held in Egypt from the 21st of June to the 19th of July in what promises to be a tournament for the ages.

SEE decided to compile a list of the most prominent African players who will take part in the tournament, who currently participate in the Egyptian Premier League. The list is as follows.

 

Paulin Voavy

Nation: Madagascar

Egyptian Club: Misr Lel-Makassa

Paulin Voavy (born November 10, 1987) is a Malagasy footballer who currently plays as attacking midfielder for Egyptian Premier League club Misr lel-Makkass since 2016. He has scored a total of 10 goals throughout his journey with the club. He has scored 11 goals in  38 appearances with his nation.

Ferjani Sassi, born 18 March 1992 is a Tunisian footballer, who currently plays for Zamalek SC and the Tunisian national team as a defensive midfielder. Toni Brito Silva Sá (born 15 September 1993) is a Bissau-Guinean professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Al Ittihad Alexandria in the Egyptian Premier League.
