On Tuesday, the twelfth day of the highly-anticipated Euro 2024 took place in Germany. The tournament kicked off on Friday, June 14, with an opening contest for the hosts against Scotland. The Mannschaft earned the first three points in the tournament.

Tuesday witnessed a heavy day of games as four matches were set for the day. however, the quality of the introduced performance, especially of England and France was a hot topic for social media.

For group D, France and Poland were tied with a 1-1 draw. Mbappé and Lewandowski scored for their countries teams through penalty kicks. France booked their seats in the knockouts as they come 2nd on Group's D standings, while Poland were eliminated from the tournament.

At the same time, the Netherlands lost their position as the top of the group after being defeated by Austria, who jumped from 3rd place to 1st making use of the draw between France and Poland, 3-2 in a very thrilling game.

The Netherlands also kept their hopes alive as they came third with 4 points. On the other hand, Lewandowski's Poland were eliminated.

At 10 pm, the final round of Group D took place. England and Slovenia were tied with a goalless draw and the same went with Denmark and Serbia. The performance of both games were a topic for sarcasm on social media.

The presence of Tennis icon Novak Djokovic to support Serbia was one of the key highlights of the day.

England officially qualified for the knockouts as they came first on their group standings, while there was a dispute in marking the owners of the second place as both Slovenia, and Denmark are equal in points, scored goals, received goals, and yellow cards. So, and for the first time in history, the organizers saw that Slovenia assistant coach Milivoje Novakovic was booked for dissent. That indiscretion is the difference between the teams, with Denmark having six disciplinary points with UEFA to Slovenia's seven.

The three points are enough for Slovenia to pass to the knockouts. While, Serbia were officially eliminated.
