Get to Know Egyptian Squash Stars Qualified to 2024 US Open QF

5 Egyptian female squash players and 5 male stars qualified for the quarter-finals of the US Open in Philadelphia so far. 

The tournament is taking place between October 19, and 27.

Starting with women, the five players are Nouran Gohar, Hania El Hammamy, Nour El Sherbiny, Rawan El Arabi, and Farouz Abu El Kheir.

In the R2, Gohar defeated Georgia Adderley 3-0, while El Hammamy defeated Egypt's Hana Ramadan. 

El Sherbiny advanced to the next round after defeating Melissa Alves 3-0. 

Rawan El Arabi reached the quarter-finals after defeating Satomi Watanabe 3-2.

Abu El Kheir advanced to the third round after defeating Sarah-Jane Perry 3-1.

Regarding men, 5 names are set for the quarter-finals. They are Ali Farag, Mostafa Asal, Mazen Hesham, Aly Abou El Enien, and Youssef Ibrahim.

In the R2, Farag defeated Patrick Rooney 3-0, while Ibrahim defeated Egypt's Youssef Soliman 3-1.

Hesham reached the quarter-finals after defeating Joel Makin 3-0. 

Asal advanced to the next round after defeating Fares Dessouky 3-0.  

Abou El Enien passed to the quarter-finals after defeating Tarek Momen 3-1.
