Early Wednesday (1 am Cairo time), the sixth day of Copa America tournament kicked off.
The day witnessed two games which were the second round for Group A.
It was headlined by the appearance of the current champions Argentina. The world champions succeeded in capturing a late 1-0 victory against Chile after Lautaro Martinez scored the game's only goal in minute 88.
With this victory, Argentina booked their seats in the quarter-finals.
It was one of the biggest 2024 Copa America group stage games. It took place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
On the other hand, Canada managed to capture their first win in the tournament after defeating Peru 1-0 by Jonathan David.
The game hosted at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas city, Kansas.
