The group stage draw for the 2025–2026 CAF Champions League has delivered some exciting matchups.
Egyptian giants Al Ahly were drawn into Group B alongside Tanzania’s Young Africans, Morocco’s RS Berkane, and Algeria’s JS Kabylie.
Meanwhile, Pyramids FC will compete in Group A with Morocco’s Nahdat Berkane, Nigeria’s Rivers United, and Power Dynamos from Zambia.
The full results of the draw are as follows:
Group A: RS Berkane, Pyramids, Rivers United, Power Dynamos
Group B: Al Ahly, Young Africans, AS FAR, JS Kabylie
Group C: Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Hilal, MC Alger, Saint Eloi Lupopo
Group D: Espérance de Tunis, Simba SC, Petro Atletico, Stade Malien
The 16-team group stage lineup was completed when Morocco’s RS Berkane advanced at the expense of Libya’s Al Ahli Tripoli, joining the other qualified clubs in the draw.
Pyramids FC aim to deliver a strong performance in their second CAF Champions League campaign, building on experience gained from previous continental competitions and last season’s title run.
Al Ahly, meanwhile, face a tough challenge against AS FAR and JS Kabylie.
