FC Barcelona team has arrived in Saudi Arabia as preparations intensify for the Supercopa de España, also referred to as the Spanish Super Cup, which will be held in Jeddah from January 7 to 11.
The Catalan side was the first to touch down, while rivals Real Madrid are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday.
Barcelona will open their Super Cup campaign with a semi-final clash against Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday, January 7.
The winner of that encounter will advance to the final to face the victor of the Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid.
Head coach Hansi Flick has named a strong squad for the competition, blending experience with emerging talent.
