Early Wednesday (Cairo time), WWE’s NXT brand presented its new year show, themed as New Year’s Evils. It took place at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California.
This episode was a highly anticipated one as The Rock announced that he would participate at the show, whose on-screen general manager is Ava, The Rock’s daughter.
The episode also crowning two new champions as Guilia won the NXT Women’s title and Oba Femi won the NXT championship.
The Rock had a segment with his daughter, before heading to the NXT crowds to talk to them about his future. He also confronted Ethan Page backstage.

Stephanie Vaquer defeated Cora Jade, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice to become the #1 contender for the NXT Women's North American Championship.
Gigi Dolin, Shotzi, and Tatum Paxley defeated Fatal Influence in a 6-women tag team match.
Lexis King defeated Charlie Dempsey (c) in a Sudden Death Rules for the NXT Heritage Cup and became the new champion.
Oba Femi defeated Trick Williams and Eddy in a Triple Threat to win the NXT Championship.
