Early Sunday, AEW introduced its first 2025 Pay-Per-View, Revolution, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
This was the first AEW PPV event to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
The card included several gimmick matches such as Steel Cage and Hollywood Ending matches.
The majority of the promotion's titles were on the line, such as the AEW World title, AEW Women's World title, and the International title.
Only one new champion was crowned, Kenny Omega. Omega defeated Konosuke Takeshita to become the new AEW International champion. This could be Omega's first single title since 2022.
The event was almost a sold-out event, and trended worldwide.
