Colombia stunned Paraguay 2-1 at 1 am (Cairo time). It took place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Daniel Munoz scored for Colombia in minute 32, followed by a goal by his mate Jefferson Lerma in minute 42. In minute 69, Paraguay's Julio Enciso scored his country's team only goal.

The second game was the clash between Brazil and Costa Rica. SoFi Stadium in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, California, United States hosted the game.
Brazil made a very disappointing appearance, and failed in capturing a victory in their first 2024 Copa America appearance by having a 0-0 draw with Costa Rica.
Brazil's star, who is still recovering from torn ACL injury, Neymar was spotted watching the game and he seemed very interactive with the game.

The tournament kicked off on Friday with a good victory of the title holders, Argentina, against Canada 2-0.
