Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry thanked his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, and the ministers at the ministerial meeting, aimed at discussing developments in Gaza, and allowing the participating Arab countries to express a unified vision and position regarding this crisis.
During a press conference following the ministerial meeting on developments in Gaza, he added: During the meeting, I was keen to clarify Egypt’s vision, which is compatible with the vision of its Arab brothers, in dealing with the crisis, and I stressed the need to take into account the element of time and the factor of its accelerating developments.
He stressed that the unfortunate killings taking place in Gaza cannot be justified as self-defense.
