Actress Gal Gadot is set to star in a spy movie entitled "Heart Of Stone".

The movie is a potential franchise starter and will be written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, which will be directed by Tom Harper.

Gadot will also produce it via her Pilot Wave production company, along with Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis, and Julie Lynn.

The actress will be seen soon in the highly-anticipated movie "Wonder Woman 1984", the followup to 2017's record-breaking superhero film “Wonder Woman”.

The movie is set to be released in theaters and on HBO Max, on December 15. The movie marks the last big-budget action film on the 2020 schedule.

“Wonder Woman 1984” release date was altered several times due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was originally scheduled to hit the cinemas in June 2020.

Gadot has already wrapped up Netflix's Red Notice, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson.

She is also set to play Cleopatra in a new historical drama about legendary Egyptian queen Cleopatra VII Philopator, the last pharaoh in ancient Egyptian history and the last ruler of the Ptolemy line.

The film is set to be directed by Patty Jenkins, who collaborated with Gadot on “Wonder Woman” and its upcoming sequel.

“Cleopatra” is scripted by Laeta Klogridis, who has written screenplays for films such as “Shutter Island” and “Alita: Battle Angel”.

Paramount Pictures is the studio behind the film.

The Egyptian queen has been portrayed several times on the screen, in which Claudette Colbert and Elizabeth Taylor’s takes are the most popular ones. Lyndsey Marshal played Cleopatra in the HBO series “Rome”.

Multiple Hollywood studios have struggled to produce Cleopatra-related projects for a few years now. Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga were at one point rumored to star in a film based on the historical figure.

Gadot’s casting sparked an online debate over the Egyptian queen’s race and skin color, with some Twitter users insisting that an African actor should play Cleopatra in the upcoming film.
