Liverpool FC have completed on Sunday the signing of 16-year-old midfielder Harvey Elliott from Fulham.

Elliott delivered an impressive performance with his former club during the last season in the Premier League. The English player made three appearances with his side last year.

He has become the youngest play ever to participate in the League when he took part in Fullham's encounter against Wolverhampton in May.

Real Madrid, Paris St-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester City had expressed their interest in signing the player.

Elliott became the second emerging talent to join Liverpool this summer after the 17-year-old Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg, who moved to the Reds on June, 27 from PEC Zwolle.

It is worth mentioning that Liverpool claimed the UEFA Champions League title after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in June.
