French Foreign Minister (FM) Stephane Ségornet revealed the existence of consultations on a draft resolution submitted by France to the Security Council on the political track in the Middle East.
This came during a joint press conference with the foreign ministers of Egypt and Jordan at Tahrir Palace in Cairo.
He also indicated that the two-state solution is the basis for permanent and comprehensive peace for the Palestinian issue.
The French Foreign Minister stressed that his country aims to achieve peace, explaining that his country is a permanent member of the Security Council and can achieve consensus on the initiative.
