On Friday, France’s Minister for European Affairs, Benjamin Haddad, stated that France is working to convince its partners of the need to extend an immediate invitation to Ukraine to join NATO.
In an interview with the newspaper Le Parisien, he said, "The invitation is the first step, a political signal, and we can do it now. We are rallying efforts to convince our partners, even though membership is a long and demanding process."
