France to Hold 2 Conferences in Support of Lebanon

French President Emmanuel Macron reaffirmed his commitment to organizing two major international conferences aimed at supporting Lebanon before the end of this year.

In a message addressed to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Macron stated that the first conference will focus on providing assistance to the Lebanese Army and Armed Forces, describing them as a cornerstone of national sovereignty.

The second conference will be dedicated to Lebanon’s recovery and reconstruction efforts following years of political and economic turmoil.

The French leader also commended Lebanon’s recent steps toward consolidating state authority, particularly efforts to ensure that all arms remain under the control of legitimate national forces.
