On Saturday, French and Greek people demonstrated against the introduction of tougher coronavirus rules.

In France, the streets of the southern residential areas and Parise were vandalised and flooded using fire hoses on Friday night, according to domestic reports.

In the same context, various clinics in the southwest were partially demolished by an arson attack, French media reported.

The French cities saw opposing demonstrations on the controversial issue of tougher coronavirus rules. In this regard, nearly 100,000 came out to protest on Saturday.

Similarly, Greece has seen several acts of violence and vandalism against lawmakers who supported the new vaccination rules.

Greece also saw a number of demonstrations against the government, a week before the controversial decision.

European NGOs and Human rights defenders have accused the French and Greek governments of violating freedoms by introducing new rules.
