France is witnessing more protests and mass rallies within the framework of the general strike in the private and public sectors.

The French took to the streets at the call of four unions; the most prominent of them are two: the General Labor Union, which is close to the Communist Party.

The union is considered the most extreme of all French trade unions, meanwhile, the “Workforce” has split from the union for decades, which is more realistic.

The four unions were joined by students' unions which are responsible for many economic sectors.

As on every occasion of this kind, tens of thousands of demonstrators flocked to the streets of the capital and major cities.

According to the organizers, rallies and rallies took place in 150 cities; Most notably, Paris

The demonstrators raised slogans calling for an increase in salaries because of the outrageous price hike that affects the most vulnerable social strata and makes them unable to provide their basic needs, while the unprecedented rise in the rate of inflation ensures the overthrow of the value of families' savings.
