France condemned unacceptable acts of violence committed by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
In a statment, The French Foreign Ministry said, "France strongly condemns the attacks by settlers that led to the killing of several Palestinian civilians in the past few days in Qatra and Sawiya, as well as the forced displacement of a number of population centers."
The ministry added that "the acts of violence committed by settlers against Palestinians are on the rise, and they are unacceptable and must stop." It also called on Israel to "take immediate measures to protect Palestinians."
