President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi issued a decree to reappoint Mohamed Mustafa Abdel-Gawad Omran as the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) for one year.
The decision was published in the Official Gazette.
In August 2017, Omran was assigned to act as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority.
It is worth mentioning that Omran was named the chairman of the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) for two terms from 2011 until 2017 and served as Vice President of the Insurance Holding Company for Operations Affairs from 2010 until 2011.
