Four Palestinians were injured by Israeli army fire in two separate incidents in the occupied West Bank, coinciding with the sixth day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Anadolu Agency quoted sources as saying that two injuries were recorded during an Israeli raid on the al-Amari refugee camp in al-Bireh, in the central West Bank, without providing further details about the nature or circumstances of the injuries.
In a separate incident, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that its crews transported two young men who had been shot with live ammunition in the town of al-Ram, northeast of Jerusalem, noting that they were taken to the hospital for treatment. Palestine TV reported that the injuries occurred near the separation wall in the town.
Medical sources did not clarify the circumstances surrounding the injuries of the two young men in al-Ram. However, incidents of Palestinians being shot near the separation wall are frequent, particularly when workers attempt to enter the occupied territories in search of employment.
