Former Zamalek Player Alaa Ali Dies Aged 31

The Former Zamalek midfielder Alaa Ali has died on Monday at the age of 31 due to a medical condition.

The current El-Entag El Harby SC goalkeeper announced Ali's death on his official twitter page, captioning, " Alaa Ali passed away."

Ali, who was born in 1988, began his football career in the White Knights as he played with the first-class team in the 2007-08 season.

While in Zamalek, he delivered an illustrious performance with the White Knights as he became one of the most important players during this period in the White Knights.

He scored many goals with the whites during his stunning period with Zamalek, as he became one of the best players in the Egyptian club, who played on the left-side and an attacking midfielder.

Ali was well known for his sturdy left-foot shot as netted several goals through his powerful shots. He left the Whites in 2012, joining El Gouna on a one-season loan. Then, he moved to "Telephonat Beni Suef SC", where he spent a season.

He joined Smouha SC in 2014 and spent there two seasons, before moving to Wadi Degla SC in 2017. Ali left Degla, joining Al Masry in the previous season. His latest football move was in Petrojet.
