Forest fires in Algeria, on Monday, killed 15 people, while 26 were injured in 16 provinces, according to the Algerian Ministry of Interior.
The ministry said, in a press statement, that the states of "Bejaia", "Bouira" and "Jijel" recorded the largest fires, due to the winds.
It pointed out that 1,500 people were evacuated.
