Forbes unveiled its list of the top 100 highest-paid celebrities for 2019, and American singer Taylor Swift claimed the no. 1 spot.
Swift was closely followed by reality star turned cosmetics mogul Kylie Jenner and rapper Kanye West, who occupied no. 2 and 3, respectively.
Earlier this year Forbes declared Jenner to be the world's youngest billionaire.
Soccer stars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar were also listed in the top 10 along with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and the Eagles.
Six actors who played characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe were also ranked among the highest-paid celebrities in the world: Thor star Chris Hemsworth came in at no.. 24, followed by Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr, Rocket voice actor Bradley Cooper, and Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson.
Coming up at the rear is Captain America star Chris Evans, and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man).
British novelist J.K Rowling and American author James Patterson were featured as the sole authors, David Copperfield as the sole magician, BTS as the sole K-Pop act and boy band, and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as the sole Indian actor in Forbes’ list of world’s highest-paid celebrities in the world for 2019.
