Russian Deputy Defence Minister Colonel-General Alexander Fomin said on Wednesday that it is impossible to isolate Russia in the international arena.
"The number of countries around the world cooperating with the Russian Ministry of Defense has exceeded 100," he said.
"A striking example of the lack of isolation is the international security conference held in Moscow last August, which brought together more than 700 delegates from 70 countries and 6 international organizations," Fomin continued.
He added that this conference was also attended by representatives of a number of non-governmental organizations, including the West.
Moreover, Fomin highlighted Russia's participation in the summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Cambodia, as well as its participation in meetings within the framework of the G20 summit on the Indonesian island of Bali this November.
