Egyptian Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry said, Wednesday, that Syria's return to the Arab League is vital in order to maintain Arab national security.
Addressing the 155th session of the Arab League ministerial council, FM added, "Syria is supposed to seriously demonstrate the will for a peaceful solution based on Security Council resolutions."
On the other hand, Shoukry affirmed his country's rejection of Turkish interference in the region, and the continued presence of Turkish forces on Arab territories.
Concerning Libya, Egypt's FM underlined the difficulty to achieve stability in Libya without ending foreign interference and respecting the ceasefire.
