On Sunday, Shoukry met with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi. They discussed ways to develop bilateral ties, in addition to important regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Egypt’s top diplomat will partake in the 48th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which will be hosted in Islamabad on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On March 13, FM started his Asian tour, which included Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. Pakistan is the fourth and last stop for Shoukry in his tour.
