Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, president-designate of the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Summit (COP27) held talks on Sunday with Mr. Frans Timmermans Executive VP of the EU Commission for the European Green Deal, in Cairo.
The talks came, in the context of the Egyptian Presidency's of COP27 reaching out to all global climate action stakeholders, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez tweeted.

It is scheduled that Timmermans will meet with Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad Abdel Aziz, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala Al-Saeed.
