Foreign Minister (FM) Badr Abdel Atty met with Djibouti's Foreign Minister (FM) Mahmoud Ali Youssouf.
The meeting included discussions on issues of mutual interest in light of the brotherly ties between the two countries and their peoples, as well as the close relations between the leaderships of both nations.
In this regard, Abdel Atty conveyed the greetings of His Excellency, the President of the Republic, to his brother, His Excellency, President Omar Guelleh, affirming Egypt's eagerness to continue working to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields in a way that serves their mutual interests and reflects the political will of both leaderships in this regard.
The meeting also addressed the latest developments in the Horn of Africa, Sudan, and Somalia, as well as the situation in Gaza. In addition, the unjustified Israeli escalation, which is dragging the region into a regional war, was discussed.
