Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received on Wednesday a phone call from his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides.
This came within the framework of continuous consultation and close ties between the two brotherly countries.
The talks tackled ways to boost bilateral relations in the various domains in addition to following up on the outcomes of a joint high committee between two countries, which was held for the first time in Cairo on September 4, 2021, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
In this regard, Christodoulides invited Shoukry to visit Cyprus during the upcoming period. Moreover, both ministers discussed the latest regional and international developments of common interests.
