Dr. Badr Abdel Atty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, held a telephone call on Thursday, January 9, 2025, with Mr. Jean-Claude Jacossou, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of the Congo, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Congo-Brazzaville.
Dr. Badr Abdel Atty praised the close relations between the two countries, stressing Egypt’s readiness to support Congo-Brazzaville by providing technical expertise and contributing to sustainable development projects in Congo.
He also expressed Egypt's keenness to enhance joint African action and advance development in the continent.
The call discussed the prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially economic development.
The two ministers also exchanged views on regional developments, stressing the importance of coordinating efforts to support security and stability in the African continent.
