Apple TV+ dropped on Monday the first trailer for its upcoming limited series "Lisey’s Story", which is based on the 2006 Stephen King novel of the same name.
The series stars Julianne Moore, Clive Owen, Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Dane DeHaan, Ron Cephas Jones, and Sung Kang.
The plot follows Lisey Landon (Moore) as she struggles to deal with the loss of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (Owen). As her world unravels, Landon will have to confront her past and the memories she has repressed from her marriage.
The series consists of eight episodes, with is written by King and directed by Pablo Larraín. Juan de Dios Larraín, Ben Stephenson, and J.J. Abrams are executive producers along with King and Larraín.
"Lisey’s Story" premieres globally on Friday, June 4.
