A fire broke out at an industrial complex in southern Israel following what was described as an Iranian ballistic missile strike, according to a report by Yedioth Ahronoth.

The blaze erupted at a site in the Neot Hovav industrial zone, sending thick black smoke into the sky and prompting emergency measures due to hazardous materials stored at the facility. Israeli firefighting and rescue teams were dispatched to contain the fire, secure damaged containers, and prevent the spread of flames or potential toxic leaks.

Authorities said efforts are ongoing to avoid further explosions or chemical leaks. Workers in nearby facilities were instructed to evacuate exposed areas and move into protected buildings, while residents were advised to remain indoors, close windows, and follow safety instructions.

Footage from the scene showed large flames and heavy smoke rising from the complex, which includes dozens of factories.
