Finnish President Alexander Stubb said Egypt is a very important partner for Finland.
Speaking during a discussion on the sidelines of the Egyptian-Finnish Business Forum, attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Stubb said current global challenges make it necessary to strengthen ties between countries.
He pointed to Egypt’s role in supporting regional stability and said the country has seen major progress in infrastructure and other sectors over the past years. He also noted the importance of Egypt’s young population and its strategic location linking different regions.
Stubb said both sides agreed to expand cooperation in education, health, and communications, alongside efforts to increase trade exchange.
