It is worth noting that other European countries such as Switzerland, the United Kingdom (UK), Italy, and Ukraine.

On the other hand,  life expectancy slid in the last year.

The 27-member bloc struggled to cope with the devastating repercussions of the Coronavirus.

Eurostat, the European agency of statistics pointed out that after the spread of the deadly virus, the life expectancy of the whelming majority of the population in the most members slid significantly.

The European agency revealed the wide decline was registered in Spain by 1.6 years in 2019.

Bulgaria came second by losing 1.5 years on average.

Then came Lithuania, Poland, and Romania in a row as every country lost 1.4 years.

Both Denmark and Finland were only the two countries that witnessed an increase in life expectancy by .01 year.

There is no comprehensive statics in the EU as Ireland did not submit its figures so far.
