Egyptian stars Asser Yassin and Amina Khalil’s film “Shamrekh” now has a release window.
The film is set to release in theaters in August.
The cast also includes Khaled El Sawy, Mohamed Tharwat, Sally Hammad, and Adam El Sharkawy. “Shamrekh" is written and directed by Amr Salama.
“Shamrekh" was initially set to premiere during the Eid al-Adha movie marathon but was pushed back following the death of actor Moustafa Darwish last May.
Before his death, Darwish shot 90% of the film, which had only 3 days left until principal photography wrapped production.
The action-romantic film depicts the pressures that a person can be exposed to in life, through a businessman who falls in love with a girl, whose life pressure increase to boiling point.
In the teaser, Yassin is seen driving a motorcycle with Khalil behind him as he seems to be running away from something.
