The organizing committee of the FIFA World Cup 2026 revealed, on Thursday, the official logo of the upcoming edition.
The 2026 edition will be hosted in 16 cities in three countries: the US, Canada, and Mexico. The logo carried the three colours of the three countries to reflect their identities of them.
Moreover, it will the first FIFA World Cup edition to take place in three countries and to witness the participation of 48 teams.
It is worth mentioning that the 2022 edition was hosted in Qatar and saw the coronation of Argentina.
Argentina defeated France in the final round of the tournament by penalties after the game was settled in draw 3-3.
