The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) scheduled the draw for the 2025 Club World Cup for January. The tournament, set to take place in the United States, will feature a new format with 32 participating teams.
The revamped Club World Cup will be held in the summer of 2025, beginning on Sunday, June 15, and concluding with the final match on Sunday, July 13.

The total prize money for the 2025 Club World Cup is expected to reach €2.5 billion. Each participating club will receive between £40 and £50 million for their involvement, with potential increases for those advancing to the later stages.
Representing Africa in the 2025 Club World Cup will be Al Ahly, Espérance de Tunis, Wydad Casablanca, and Mamelodi Sundowns.
