FIFA announced that it will reveal the full match schedule and stadium assignments for the 2026 FIFA World Cup later this evening, one day after the official draw held in Washington, D.C.
Yesterday’s draw at the Kennedy Center in Washington produced the following 12 groups:
Group A: Mexico – South Africa – South Korea – Winner of (Denmark / North Macedonia / Czech Republic / Ireland)
Group B: Canada – Qatar – Switzerland – Winner of (Italy / Northern Ireland / Wales / Bosnia)
Group C: Brazil – Morocco – Haiti – Scotland
Group D: USA – Paraguay – Australia – Winner of (Turkey / Romania / Slovakia / Kosovo)
Group E: Germany – Curaçao – Ivory Coast – Ecuador
Group F: Netherlands – Japan – Winner of (Ukraine / Sweden / Poland / Albania) – Tunisia
Group G: Belgium – Egypt – Iran – New Zealand
Group H: Spain – Cape Verde – Saudi Arabia – Uruguay
Group I: France – Senegal – Norway – Winner of (Iraq / Bolivia / Suriname)
Group J: Argentina – Algeria – Austria – Jordan

Historic Edition Hosted by Three Nations
The 2026 tournament marks a historic milestone, becoming the first World Cup to be jointly hosted by three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
It will also be the first edition to feature an expanded lineup of 48 national teams, including notable entrants such as Egypt under head coach Hossam Hassan.
The draw ceremony attracted global attention as teams, officials, and fans awaited the group placements for what is expected to be one of the most expansive and widely viewed tournaments in World Cup history.
