On Monday, FIFA officially lifted Al Zamalek's transfer ban after the Egyptian Premier League side managed to resolve all the cases that led to the transfer ban.
The transfer ban hindered Zamalek from making any signings during the summer transfer window.
Al Zamalek had various cases with several clubs, mainly with the Portuguese Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of Mahmoud 'Shikaballa' in 2015, former Ghanaian player Benjamin Acheampong, and Samson Akinyoola.
Earlier this month, the club announced that they settled all their cases to be able to resume being part of the transfer market during the winter window.
The spokesperson of the Al Zamalek said: "After extensive and challenging negotiations, the club has successfully resolved all financial dues and fines with all parties involved. We have resolved 14 cases and now await an official letter from FIFA confirming the lifting of the transfer ban."
