FIFA appointed Egyptian referee Yara Atef to participate in the upcoming Women’s World Cup that will take place in 2023.

The upcoming edition of the Women’s World Cup consists of 32 teams and is set to be organized in Australia and New Zealand.

“FIFA has nominated Yara Atef, the assistant international referee, to participate in officiating the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in its ninth edition,” according to the Egyptian Football Association's (EFA) statement.
