Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, attended the press conference for the visit of the Basketball World Cup to Egypt, on its 32nd tour, which began with a visit to China.
The conference was attended by Dr. Magdy Abu Freikha, President of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, basketball players, and a number of Egyptian national team players who participated in Egypt's qualification for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The FIBA World Cup is currently visiting Egypt as part of the cup tour in the countries whose teams have qualified to participate in the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which will be held from August 25 to September 10, 2023 in Japan, Indonesia and Philippine.
The Minister of Sports wished success to the national team in its participation in the World Cup in Group D, which includes Lithuania, Montenegro and Mexico
