Liverpool reportedly reached an agreement with Feyenoord for their Arne Slot to fill the position Jurgen Klopp as manager, English media reported on Friday.
The Press Association said that a compensation package for Feyenoord, who had two years left on his contract, was agreed.
The BBC highlighted that the deal is worth up to £9.4 million.
Slot told reporters: "I would like to go to Liverpool. Now I'm waiting to see whether the clubs reach an agreement. I'm very confident in that."
Slot moved to Feyenoord in 2021 after his impressive performance in his first managerial role experience at AZ Alkmaar.
He led the Dutch giants to the inaugural Europa Conference League final which they narrowly lost 1-0 to Jose Mourinho's Roma.
