Reports from English media claim that Turkish club Fenerbahçe have made an ambitious offer to sign Egyptian star Mohamed Salah from Liverpool ahead of the 2025–2026 season, with the player expected to leave Anfield after nine years at the club.
According to The Sun, Fenerbahçe have proposed a contract worth £17.3 million per year (around €20 million), on a three-year deal, in an attempt to convince the forward to move to Istanbul.
The report adds that Salah’s representatives have shown openness to the proposal, which is described as one of the most attractive offers received so far since his announced departure from Liverpool in March.
While the Turkish side are pushing strongly to secure his signature, Salah is still believed to be considering multiple options.
His preference to remain in Europe at this stage of his career could also influence his decision, despite reported interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Major League Soccer in the United States.
Further talks are expected between Fenerbahçe officials and Salah’s camp, although no final decision has been made.
The Egyptian captain is expected to take his time before choosing his next destination, especially with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon with the Egypt national team.
So far this season, Salah has scored 12 goals and provided 9 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool.
